Job description:

DeMera DeMera Cameron, LLP is looking for experienced CPA’s and CPA candidates to join our growing team in either full-time or part-time positions. DDC has been providing outstanding accounting services to clients since 1944 and is known as one of the largest and most respected CPA firms in the Central Valley. DeMera DeMera Cameron is seeking a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate to join our team as a staff accountant.

Depending on years of experience, responsibilities include:

  • Examine and prepare accounting records for tax and financial statements, and other financial reports
  • Prepare Federal and state income taxes for individuals, corporations, partnerships, non-profits, and trusts
  • Perform tax and bookkeeping services for clients in compliance with laws and regulations
  • Provide excellent and timely client services while learning and growing
  • If not certified, actively pursue and show steady progress towards certification

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or CPA candidacy with a minimum of 2 years recently with a public accounting firm
  • Team player capable of collaboration and effective communication
  • Experience with current computer accounting and tax software programs as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detailed and deadline-oriented, project ownership
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and in-depth research skills
  • Desire and dedication to be part of a cohesive team that focuses on providing excellent client services

Compensation and Benefits (depending on full-time or part-time status):
